What is an Occupier Consent Form?
An adult occupier can sometimes have rights in a property even if they're not on the title.
Lenders deal with this by asking occupiers to sign a consent or waiver, agreeing that the lender's charge takes priority.
In practice, that means if the property is ever repossessed, you couldn't rely on those rights to stay.
It's a short document, but it's worth understanding what you're agreeing to.
